Video Shows Moment Kaduna Villagers Resisted Bandits Invasion of Farms Until They Retreated

Residents of Anchau town in Kubau Local Government Area, Kaduna State, have taken a daring step of resisting invasion of their farmlands by armed bandits.

The group, largely comprising of angry youths, confronted the heavily armed bandits despite being shot at by the insurgents.

A viral video of the confrontation showed the youths, armed with stones, sticks, and other items, charging towards the suspected bandits who could be seen retreating after failing to disperse the mob.

The clip had since attracted mixed reactions from netizens as some commended the bravery of the residents while others decried citizens resort to self-defence in the face of heightened insecurity across Nigeria.
