Nollywood actor Mofe Duncan has slammed a troll for an unflattering comment on his post about his late colleague, Alex Ekubo.
In his comment section, the troll had called out the actor and others for their fake love, noting that they can’t die in Alex’s place.
“All these shows of so-called love. If dem say make one of una come die in his place now, voicemail”.
Replying to the troll, Mofe told him not to be dáft. He said even though the troll already looks dãft, he shouldn’t act it in public.
“Don’t be dãft!! You already look it, don’t act it publicly”.
Sharing a screenshot of it on his Instagram page, he called the troll persona non grata, noting how things like this are bound to happen when people who weren’t raised right have access to smartphones.
“Just look at this.

This aggravated me. This is what happens when you put smartphones in the hands of individuals who were not raised right”.
Kemi Filani reported last month that the light-skinned actor had passed away on Monday, May 11th, after a battle with Cancer and was 40 years old.
In a heartbreaking statement, his family announced that the actor had passed away after a brief but courageous battle. According to the statement, he passed away at Evercare Hospital due to complications arising from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
Last year, netizens expressed concern about Alex’s absence on social media. The light-skinned actor hasn’t been active on Instagram since 2024.
Speaking up for him, Oma Nnadi had addressed those sending her messages about him. Oma told them to stop looking for Alex as he is healthy, well and fine. She noted how everyone must not be on social media.
In other news, in March, Mofe lost his father, Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan in March. Sharing the sad news on his Instagram page, he revealed that his father passed away on the 10th of March, 2026. The actor said that though his heart is broken, it smiles cause he knows the angels are watching over him.
