Barring last-minute changes, the House of Representatives is set to hold an emergency sitting with a view to extending the capital components of the 2025 Appropriation Act.

The Acting Clerk of the House of Representatives, Ibrahim Sidi, stated this in a memo sent to all members on Sunday.

He said the sitting holds at 11am Pursuant to Order Five, Rule 2 sub 2 of the Standing Orders of the House of Representatives.
