Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, says the people of the state are satisfied with the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Buni stated this in Damaturu on Saturday while inspecting the conduct of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential primary election.
At Kasesa primary school polling unit, he noted that the massive turnout of people to vote for Tinubu indicated their acceptability for the president’s projects, programmes and policies.
“This is happening across the 178 electoral wards in the state. People have turned out massively to return Mr President, the standard-bearer of our party.
“This is why you can see the momentum and enthusiasm on the side of the voters ahead of the 2027 general election,” the governor said.
Buni, who is also the state’s returning officer in the election, lauded the peaceful conduct of the exercise across the 17 local government areas of the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that collation of the election’s results is billed to start later in the day. NAN
