Mr Aminu Yuguda, an APC governorship aspirant in Gombe, says he will build on Gov. Inuwa Yahaya’s legacies for sustainable development of the state.
He said this on Thursday while submitting his intent form at the All Progressives Congress (APC) secretariat in Gombe.
Yuguda pledged to ensure effective continuity in governance if elected governor in the 2027 election.
“I have no template apart from that of Gov. Inuwa Yahaya, everyone can see how he has delivered, and that template will continue to work for Gombe State,” he said.
He said that he formally presented his intention to contest for the governorship under the platform of the APC.
Mr Muhammad Ndus, APC Chairman in the state, urged aspirants to unite and work together to secure victory for the party in the 2027 general elections.
Ndus commended Yuguda for formally notifying the party of his intention, adding that the impressive turnout reflects the growing popularity of the party and confidence in its leadership.
He said the ongoing developmental projects initiated by the governor would attract more people to join the party. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
