The All Progressives Congress has announced the winners and the losers of its just-concluded national assembly primaries in Ondo State.

This was disclosed in a viral result document signed by Iboroma Dabibi, chairman of the Ondo APC 2026 National Assembly primaries election committee.

According to the document, five incumbent lawmakers from the state failed to secure an APC return ticket.

The results showed that only three incumbent lawmakers, including Ifeolowa Ehindero, Abiola Makinde, and Adeferati Gboyega, secured their return ticket in APC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The committee declared that Ifeolowa Ehindero, Abiola Makinde, Damamola Olumuyima, Omowunmi Olatunji, and Adeferati Gboyega were winners of Akoko East/West, Ondo West/Ondo East, Okitipupa/Irele, Akure North/Akure South, and Akoko South East/Akoko South West and were returned elected at national assembly primaries across constituencies, respectively.

Similarly, he declared Kayode Ijalana, Rasaq Obe, Mathew Oyerimade, and Akinleke David winners of the Owo/Ose, Akoko Idanre/Ifadore, Odigbo/Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo, and Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituencies in Ondo State.

The chairman of the committee, Dabibi, further urged for unity among winners and losers.

“Let me use this opportunity to appeal for unity,” he stated.

Recall that APC National Assembly primaries were conducted nationwide on Saturday, with some incumbent lawmakers failing to secure the ruling party’s return ticket ahead of 2027 general election.
