Eid Mubarak: Bunu felicitates with Muslims, urges tolerance, oneness, love

The President General of Maritime Workers’ Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Francis Bunu Abi has joined Muslims in Nigeria and across the world in celebrating this year’s Sallah festival in honour of Prophet Mohammed

The Maritime Chief praised the Muslim faithful in the country for their resilience, tolerance, and love towards one another in spite of the wave of insecurity, violent crimes and hardship that has engulfed many parts of the country.

The labour activist also noted against all odds, Muslims have however taken into cognizance that there’s nothing impossible before Allah, the Merciful, whose benevolence to mankind has always counted on  lives especially during the critical times in the history of our country; while expressing his deep heartfelt pains and agony that had befallen innocent and vulnerable Nigerians, especially during this very hard period Nigerians have found themselves.

According to MWUN media Chief Comrade Ikemefuna, Bunu-Abi also appreciates the Federal Government of Nigeria under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his total resolve towards repositioning the country and his genuine efforts in fighting the insecurity and inflation in the country to stability.

He prayed that the spirit of Eid Mubarak as Muslims and entire Nigerians celebrate today will usher in the desired peace, hoping that the desired change will bring about the expected positives for the people of Nigeria.

Comrade Bunu  further urged the government of all tiers to look into the plights of Nigerians towards alleviating them from their living standards, which he said is below average.

Comrade Bunu encouraged all Muslims to continue to live peacefully amongst all men adding that Nigerians must show love towards one another going by the spirit of the Eid-Mubarak; while wishing every Nigerian a Happy Sallah.
