Abuja, May 17,2026 (NAN) Nigerian disc jockey and producer, Michael Adeyinka, popularly known as DJ Tunez, has realeasd his highly anticipated single “State of Mind” featuring Grammy-winning singer Wizkid.
The song, released over the weekend , is now available across all major digital streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and Audiomack.
It blends Afrofusion with electronic production, featuring Wizkid’s signature vocal delivery paired with rhythmic, late-night vibes and electric instrumentals.
The song has gained rapid traction, securing hundreds of thousands of streams globally and landing on regional music charts within hours of its release
“State of Mind” release continues a long-standing collaboration between both artists,as DJ Tunez is signed to Starboy Entertainment since 2015, the label founded by Wizkid, and serves as the singer’s official disc jockey.
The duo have previously released several collaborations, including Gbese, Cool Me Down, Caution, Turn Up, Pami and One Condition.
The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that DJ Tunez came to limelight in 2016 with the release of the hit ‘Iskaba’, a collaboration with Wande Coal.
The track became one of Nigeria’s most popular song, and the artiste has since then collaborated with several top Nigerian singers, including Reekado Banks, Omah Lay and Adekunle Gold.(NAN)
