Former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, has emerged as the sole presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for the 2027 General Election.
Obi reportedly emerged as the candidate following the party’s closure of its sales of nomination forms for the presidential ticket.
With the 2023 Labour Party’s Presidential candidate being the only one to purchase the form before the closure, Obi becomes the NDC’s flagbearer without any opposition.
