The African Democratic Congress (ADC), has released an updated timetable for its primary elections ahead of the 2027 polls.
The updated timetable was released on Wednesday in a statement jointly signed by the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Chinedu Idigo and its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.
The statement explained that the adjustments were made in response to aspirants’ requests and to accommodate logistical needs.
Meanwhile, the state chairmen forum of the African Democratic Congress ADC), has warned that aspirants who buy expression of interest and nomination forms from the faction led by Senator David Mark, risk being disqualified from the 2027 race.
The chairmen warned that the sale of forms by the Mark-led faction violates the April 29 order of the Abuja High Court and has legal consequences.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that this position was made known in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the state chairmen-led National Executive Committee (NEC) forum of the party, Norman Obinna.
He stated that the sale of forms by the Mark group, breaches the recent Abuja Federal High Court judgment in Suit No FHC/ABJ/581/2026 issued by Hon. Justice J.O. Abdulmalik on 29 April 2026.
