Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has constituted a 52-member committee to manage his re-election campaign, appointing Wale Oladipo as chairman.

According to a statement issued in Osogbo, Senator Lere Oyewumi will serve as Director General of the campaign committee.

The Commissioner for Information, Kolapo Alimi, was named Deputy Director General, while Pelumi Olajengbesi will act as spokesperson and Bola Ajao as secretary.

The campaign structure also includes key sub-committees: Bamidele Salam will head the Media and Publicity Committee, and Moshood Adeoti will oversee Inter-Party Relations.

The committee is further supported by 29 standing sub-committees to coordinate different aspects of the campaign.

The statement noted that campaign structures will be replicated across all nine federal constituencies in the state through the Imole Federal Constituency Campaign Committees.

At the grassroots level, the Imole Local Government Campaign Committees will operate across all 30 local government areas and the area office, bringing together party leaders, elected officials, and grassroots mobilisers.

The campaign council is expected to serve as the highest decision-making body for the governor’s re-election bid.

Its responsibilities include planning, execution, and evaluation of campaign programmes, as well as ensuring coordination across all levels, from wards to diaspora networks.

The statement added that the committee will also enforce discipline and cohesion within the campaign structure to ensure a unified approach ahead of the election.

Membership of the campaign teams will include party executives, lawmakers, commissioners, advisers, council chairmen, and local stakeholders, reflecting a strategy focused on broad-based mobilisation.
