Lil Rel Howery is laughing through his latest run-in with Katt Williams after discovering he became part of the comedian’s new Netflix special.
During a recent stand-up set, Howery told the audience he had turned on Katt Williams: The Last Report to distract himself during an emotional day.
“This n—a got me in his Netflix special,” Howery said.
The comedian explained that he had been thinking about his father, who died in February, and hoped the special would lift his mood. Instead, he realized Williams was building toward a joke about him.
“I’m watching this s–t, and you remember in The Nutty Professor when Sherman Klump was getting roasted?” Howery asked. “When Dave Chappelle’s character was going down the line, and Sherman said, ‘I’m next?’”
Howery said Williams spent part of the special discussing celebrities and Ozempic before suddenly turning his attention to him.
“And then the n—a said, ‘This n—a said he’s not on Ozempic,’” Howery recalled, imitating Williams.

The biggest surprise, according to Howery, came when Williams showed old and new photos of himself during the special.
“This n—a decided to bully me with my own pictures,” he joked.
The two comedians have traded shots for years. In a previous interview, Howery referred to Williams as a “cartoon character,” and later admitted on the 7 PM in Brooklyn podcast that the tension nearly turned physical at a Netflix event.
Howery first rose to fame as a breakout star in Get Out and later starred in his own sitcom, Rel.
