Kim Kardashian and Lewis Hamilton may have just made their relationship Instagram official, but one person who is not upset by the romance is Kim’s ex-husband, Kanye West.
According to a source close to Ye, the rapper is comfortable with Hamilton spending time around the four children he shares with Kardashian.
“This is a good thing,” the source said via Page Six. “Kanye isn’t questioning, ‘Is Lewis a good person?’ He’s a sweet, smart person, a good person and an incredible athlete.”
Hamilton recently joined Kardashian and three of her children during a trip to Tokyo, where the Formula 1 champion was also spotted spending time with Kardashian’s son Saint.
“He feels at peace right now with Lewis being around his kids,” the source said. “He was trustful about that.”
Kardashian and Hamilton appeared to confirm their romance Monday when Hamilton posted a video of the pair in a Ferrari.
The reaction is totally different from the way that Ye responded to Kardashian’s relationship with Pete Davidson in 2022.
“He did hate Pete Davidson,” the source said.
Kardashian rose to fame on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and later built a billion-dollar empire through fashion, beauty and television. Hamilton is a seven-time Formula One world champion and one of the most successful drivers in the history of the sport.
The source added that Ye “wants the best” for Kardashian.
