Joe Budden is responding after Tyrese blasted him on social media over his reaction to Tyrese’s recent Verzuz battle with Tank.
During the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden said Tyrese remains a friend despite their latest disagreement.
“Tyrese is always welcome up here anytime,” Budden said. “Tyrese is a friend of the show.”
The tension started after Budden declared Tank the winner of the singers’ recent Verzuz showdown. Tyrese fired back on Instagram, calling Budden “tender” and accusing him of siding with Tank.
Budden addressed the criticism directly on his podcast and admitted that the online exchange even reached his family.
“Tyrese is cool. Everything is fine,” he said, recalling having to reassure his mother after she saw the posts.

The former rapper later became more heated while discussing Tyrese’s public comments.
“You been crying about paying some child support for 12 years,” Budden said. “Pay that and call it a day.”
Even so, Budden ended by insisting there is no bad blood between them.
“I love Tyrese. He’s my man,” he said. “Tyrese is my absolute man.”
Tyrese, meanwhile, suggested he would be willing to settle the disagreement face-to-face.
“Don’t talk about me, Joe,” he wrote. “Talk to me.” During the same rant, Budden claimed that the singer is off his meds.
