Nollywood actress, Scarlet Gomez, has revealed that her husband is unfazed by her on-screen kissing roles.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that made this known during an interview on “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” hosted by Nigerian content creator, Isbaeu.
Isbeau had joked about how people often frame intimate experiences and their husbands’ positions about them.
He said, “I don’t know how you people do it, you’ll kiss somebody and go home and say it is Joshua I kissed. It’s not Joshua you kissed, it was Yomi Fash-Lanso you kissed.”
In response, Scarlet emphasised that her husband’s trust in her is unwavering, stressing that she is married to a mature man.
She said, “I’m married to a man, not a boy. He doesn’t have a small ego, and he trusts his wife. Moving on.”
In other news, Nollywood actress, Yvonne Jegede, has opined that marriage is overrated, while also saying she is happy for people who find joy in it.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that in an interview with Punch, she explained that her view comes from what she has seen around her and her personal experiences. According to her, many women face pressure and are expected to shoulder more responsibility in marriage, and she feels the balance is often unequal.
She noted that there are still people who have good and happy marriages, but from her own environment, she does not see marriage as something that always works well for women. She said this is why her opinion has remained the same over time.
The mother of one added that her understanding of marriage is shaped by what she has gone through and what she observes in society. She also said she respects people who are happy in their marriages and does not deny their experiences, even though her own view is different.
