The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a coordinator of the City Boy Movement, wanted over alleged fraud.
In a notice released on Monday, the anti-graft agency said Tejuosho, 41, is being sought in connection with an ongoing investigation into obtaining money by false pretence.
The commission disclosed that she is an indigene of Lagos State, with her last known address at Aso Grove Estate, Maitama Extension, Abuja.
“Anybody with useful information as to her whereabouts should please contact the Commission… or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies,” the EFCC stated.
The suspect had previously been investigated over an alleged appointment and contract scam.
According to the EFCC, she was interrogated in June 2025 following complaints that she collected money from victims under the guise of securing federal government jobs and contracts.
She was accused of issuing fake appointment letters and forged documents to convince victims of the scheme.
Tejuosho, said to be the founder of Haleems Integrated Services Limited, was earlier granted administrative bail after questioning, with investigations ongoing at the time.
City Boy Movement Suspends Coordinator
Following the EFCC’s declaration, the City Boy Movement announced her suspension as the South-West zonal coordinator of its women’s wing.
In a statement, the group said the suspension takes immediate effect pending the outcome of investigations.
“This action has been taken as a necessary administrative measure to protect the image, credibility, and ethical standards of the Movement,” the statement read.
The organisation added that the move would ensure investigations proceed without interference, obstruction, or undue influence.
It reiterated its zero-tolerance stance on misconduct, stressing that it would not condone actions that could bring the group into disrepute.
