Ebro Darden is the latest celebrity to accuse rapper Offset of still owing them money after was shot outside a Florida casino, and he did it with a mix of concern and humor.
During a recent episode of The Ebro Laura Rosenberg Show, the radio host revealed he reached out to Offset after hearing reports that the rapper had been hospitalized following the April 6 shooting near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Fla.
“He owes me $5,000,” Ebro said. “Offset is fine. I tried to call him last night.”
Ebro explained that the money came from a bet the two made while in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX last year.
“We bet $5,000. I was prepared to pay him $5,000,” he continued. “I’ve talked to him a thousand times since then and never jammed him about $5,000. I’m not going to chase you around. Five grand is not a big deal to me.”

The Youuber said there is no tension between them despite the unpaid wager.
“It wasn’t a loan, we made a bet,” Ebro added. “Me and Offset are in a good enough situation where I don’t need to stress.”
Ebro also shut down online speculation that gambling debts may have played a role in the shooting.
“That’s why I said, why are we jumping all the way to gambling?” he went on. “We don’t know if they’re going at each other. We don’t know anything.”
Dez Bryant also claimed that Offset owes him $8,000.
