The Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammad Gadaka, has declared that the ruling party will remain in power in Nigeria for the next 100 years.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that Gadaka made the assertion during the 2026 Yobe Leadership and Innovation Summit held in Damaturu, expressing strong confidence in the party’s long-term political dominance.
The summit, organised by the Centre for Leadership and Good Governance, Yobe, brought together stakeholders to discuss governance and development.
Speaking through the State Party Youth Leader, Muhammad Musa Gulani, Gadaka said the APC’s policies and programmes have positioned it to shape Nigeria’s political landscape for decades.
He stated that the party was focused on sustaining governance at all levels, federal, state, and local, for the foreseeable future.
Highlighting the party’s vision, Gadaka said the APC remained committed to improving the lives of Nigerians and building a stronger nation.
“The vision of our party is to improve the lives of Nigerians and make Nigeria a great country. This party will continue to form governments at the federal, state, and local levels for more than 100 years,” he said.
The APC chieftain noted that achieving meaningful national development would require time, continuity, and sustained leadership.
He disclosed that the party was currently reviewing its progress and refining its strategies to ensure measurable impact across sectors.
“Our party is reviewing its progress and strengthening its strategic direction to align its messaging with measurable impact,” he added.
Gadaka also urged Nigerians to remain confident in the APC-led government, assuring that ongoing efforts would eventually yield positive economic outcomes.
“The APC will continue to build a Nigeria that works for all, strong, united, and full of hope. We call on Nigerians to have confidence in the APC government; the economy of this country will eventually work for all citizens,” he said.
