Yailin La Más Viral has been arrested in the Dominican Republic after authorities say she was linked to the possession of illegal firearms.
The 23-year-old artist, born Jorgina Lulú Guillermo Díaz, was taken into custody on March 25 in Santo Domingo after police stopped a green Lamborghini carrying her and two other individuals. Officers allegedly found two pistols with magazines inside the vehicle.
Video later showed Yailin being escorted under heavy security to court as prosecutors began reviewing the case. Authorities are investigating the incident under laws regulating weapons and ammunition, with potential penalties if she is convicted.
Her legal team is pushing back on the accusations. “It’s important to point out that a public figure is being targeted here,” her attorneys said, adding that investigators “already have a preliminary investigation and know who is responsible for the act they’re trying to pin on her.”

The defense also claims another individual detained admitted involvement with the weapons, though that testimony has not been fully incorporated.
The arrest comes as Yailin has also been involved in a separate legal battle with Tekashi 6ix9ine, whom she dated before their split in 2024. She previously accused him of abuse and filed a complaint that led to his arrest earlier that year. Authorities investigated the claims.
Yailin has not publicly addressed the latest arrest. The investigation remains ongoing.
