Senator representing Kogi Central at the National Assembly, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has demanded immediate and decisive action from the  Minister of Defence, Christopher Musa, following the recent killing of Christian worshippers in Angwan Rukuba, Jos.

PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that the tragic assault on the Christian community, which led to the death of over 30 people, has triggered widespread outrage and raised concerns about insecurity in the country.

In a strongly worded message to the Defence Minister via her official social media page on Monday, Senator Natasha condemned the killings, describing the incident as another brutal reminder that Nigerians remain unprotected.

The lawmaker further expressed disappointment over what she described as a widening gap between assurances given during his Senate screening and the current security realities.

According to Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, Gen. Musa should either stop making excuses, prove that he is different, or step aside.

She said, “Dear General Christopher Musa, Angwan Rukuba is another brutal reminder that Nigerians remain unprotected. During your screening at the Senate chambers, your words were filled with promises, and I allowed myself a sigh of relief at last, I thought.

“Well, prove now you are different and secure lives, or step aside. Enough of condolences. Enough of excuses. Nigerians want action, protection, and results!”
