Cardi B and Stefon Diggs have gone their separate ways, according to a source who confirmed the breakup just hours after fans began speculating on Super Bowl Sunday.
“Cardi and Stefon recently broke up, but it’s possible they get back together,” the source said to Entertainment Tonight. “This could just be for right now. She is focused on her upcoming tour and her family while figuring out their next steps.”

Rumors picked up momentum over the weekend when Cardi was asked at a Fanatics pregame event if she had a message for Diggs ahead of the Super Bowl. Her brief response, “Good luck,” followed by a quick exit, raised eyebrows. After the game, fans noticed the pair no longer followed each other on Instagram.
The split comes just months after the couple welcomed their first child together in November. They were first linked publicly in October 2024 and had kept much of their relationship out of the spotlight.
Adding to the surprise, Diggs had recently hinted that marriage was a possibility. When asked earlier this month if Cardi would be getting a ring after his Super Bowl appearance, he replied, “It’s on the agenda, maybe. I gotta get mine first, though.” He was also reportedly spotted with Cardi’s longtime opp, Pree.
