The 2023 Labour Party’s Lagos Governorship candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Viviour, has confirmed the death of his mother, Nkechi Rhodes-Vivour.
NPO Reproted that the matriach passed away on the Sunday.
Confirming the development in a family statement issued on his official x handle on Monday, Rhodes-Vivour expressed sadness over the demise of his mother.
While the cause of her death was also not disclosed, the former Lagos gubernatorial candidate described the late matriach as a devoted mother and grandmother.
He said that the late Nkechi will be sorely missed by the family as he assured the public that the funeral arrangements will be released soon.
“With sadness in our hearts and gratitude to God for a life well spent , we announce the call to glory of Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour, ( Nee Waboso).
“A loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. The epitome of Love.
“She will be sorely missed. May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace. Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.” He wrote.
