Keyne Yamal, the three-year-old brother of Lamine Yamal, has again stolen the show as the Spanish football prodigy handed him the 2026 FIFA World Cup title after the La Roja’s narrow 1-0 win against Argentina.
NPO Reported that a second-half extra time goal from Ferran Torres on Sunday earned Spain a deserved victory against the defending champions.
At the end of the 120 minutes of play, Spain was handed the trophy for their second time in their history.
Families and friends of the Spanish footballers joined the team on the pitch to celebrate the World Cup win.
Also making his way to the pitch was Keyne who rushed to Yamal to celebrate with him.
Video shared on X showed the three-year-old boy struggling to lift to the trophy handed to him by his brother.
He however managed to lick the trophy before leaving for Yamal.
While his Barcelona teenage prodigy brother endured a quiet World Cup campaign with just one goal to his name, Keyne however made the best out of every moment with his antics, earning several admirations from fans across the globe.
He was often captured making goofy and exciting looks during Spain matches.
His moment with the World Cup title had also drawn reactions from netizens who expressed their admiration of the three-year-old boy’s carefree attitude.
Others however used him to troll five-time Ballon D’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo, whose Portugese side got knocked out by Spain in the Round of 32.
