The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has donated a brand-new Toyota Camry to Mrs. Rachael Folake Alamu, the Principal of Community High School, Esiele, Oriire Local Government Area
Mrs. Alamu was among the teachers abducted alongside pupils during the attack on schools in Oriire Local Government Area on May 15, 2026.
Presenting the vehicle, Alli commended Mrs. Alamu for her exceptional bravery, composure and unwavering commitment to the safety and welfare of the abducted pupils throughout the traumatic experience.
He described the donation as a modest token of appreciation for her courage and an expression of solidarity with victims of insecurity.
The senator said he hoped the gesture would aid her recovery and encourage her as she resumes her professional responsibilities.
According to him, teachers who continue to serve under difficult and hazardous conditions deserve the support and appreciation of society.
NPO Reports that Mrs. Alamu spent 56 days in captivity after armed men stormed Baptist Nursery and Primary School, Yawota; Community High School, Esiele; and L.A. Primary School on May 15, 2026, abducting three teachers and several pupils.
