Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and the National Democratic Coalition (NDC) presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have paid glowing tributes to former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, as he marks his 65th birthday.
In separate goodwill messages on Sunday, the three political leaders praised Obi’s integrity, humility, commitment to public service and contributions to Nigeria’s democratic development.
Governor Otti, on his X page, described the former Anambra governor as “a statesman of uncommon integrity” whose life of service and compassion continues to positively impact humanity.
He said Obi’s public service record has been defined by discipline, transparency and an unwavering commitment to human development, qualities that have earned him widespread respect across the country.
According to Otti, Obi’s dedication to education, healthcare and philanthropy reflects a life devoted to service and the welfare of others.

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also joined in celebrating Obi, whom he described as his “dear brother,” commending his steadfast commitment to public service and his contributions to Nigeria’s democracy.
In a message shared on his X page, Atiku prayed for renewed strength, wisdom, good health and fulfilment for the former governor.
“I warmly congratulate my dear brother, His Excellency Peter Obi, on his 65th birthday. I celebrate his remarkable journey, steadfast commitment to public service, and contributions to our democracy.

Also felicitating Obi, former Kano State Governor and leader of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, described him as a man of exceptional enterprise, conviction and personal integrity.
