Super Eagles defender Benjamin Fredrick has committed his future to English Premier League Brentford by signing a long-term contract, Soccernet.ng reports.

Fredrick was one of the best players from Nigeria’s 2024 Under-20 World Cup squad. And his performances later earned him a transfer to Brentford in 2024.

Just after his first year, he was named the Player of the Year at the club’s academy, and they subsequently loaned him out to Belgian Pro League club Dender.

He quickly became a regular for the club. But unfortunately, he suffered an injury that ruled him out of the campaign.

The Super Eagles star sat out the rest of the campaign. But since he signed a two-year deal, he was expected to be out of contract by the end of last season.

However, the club has now announced that they have renewed Fredrick’s contract, keeping him until the summer of 2030 at least.
