New UK PM, Burnham, Announces Drop in Bus Fare with Nigerian Content Creator, Bemi

The new United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, has announced drop in bus fair at Greater Manchester with London-based Nigerian content creator, Bemi Orojuogun.

As captured in a video circulated on several social media platforms on Wednesday, Burnham announced the £2 fare cap national with a selfie pose peculiar to contents created by Orojuogun who popularly known as Bus Aunty.

Burnham’s announcement of the new bus fare was endorsed by Orojuogun who appeared in the clip as a bus drove past the Prime Minister.

“For too long, people said it’s not possible to reduce bus far. Well, we showed everybody in Greater Manchester that it it possible.

“Today, I’m taking the £2 fare cap national. Who better though can endorse this policy that a special guest? Cheaper bus fair endorsed by bus Aunty herself.” Burnham said.

While jokingly accusing the new UK PM of stealing her job, Orojuogun commended the initiative.

“It is a fantastic idea. Thank you so much Prime Minister” She said.

While she is a practising Mental Health Nurse, Orojuogun had over the years carved a niche for herself in digital content creation.

She is renowned for posting videos promoting the famous London’s iconic red double-decker buses.
