Leadway, CubeCover back IMT-5.0

LEADWAY Assurance, CubeCover and Vitse Technologies have partnered with organisers of Insurance Meets Tech (IMT 5.0) to accelerate digital innovation and expand insurance access across Nigeria.

The organisers, in a statement on Monday, that Leadway Assurance would serve as Official Insurer, CubeCover as Official Digital Insurer and Vitse Technologies as Official Technology Partner.

The fifth edition of the conference, with the theme ‘Building Insurance That Connects,’ will take place on Sept. 18 at Balmoral Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.

IMT Convener and Chief Executive Officer of Creato Urban, Mr Odion Aleobua, said the early commitment reflected stronger collaboration between insurers and technology firms transforming Nigeria’s insurance ecosystem.

Aleobua said Leadway Assurance’s participation for a fifth consecutive year demonstrated its sustained commitment to using technology to improve insurance accessibility and customer experience.

He described CubeCover as a growing force in digital insurance, using artificial intelligence and digital channels to expand insurance penetration across underserved markets.

According to him, CubeCover has reached more than 4.5 million users through partnerships with telecommunications operators, fintech companies and retail platforms.

He added that the company aims to provide affordable insurance coverage to more than 10 million Nigerians by 2027 through its expanding digital ecosystem.

Aleobua said Vitse Technologies would provide technology infrastructure supporting insurers across Africa with policy administration, claims processing, compliance, agency management and customer engagement solutions.

He said the three organisations represented complementary pillars driving the insurance industry’s digital transformation through underwriting expertise, innovative distribution models and enabling technology infrastructure.

He said: “We are delighted to welcome Leadway Assurance, CubeCover and Vitse Technologies as early sponsors for IMT 5.0.
