HRH Eze Dr. I.I. Okoligwe of Awo-Idemili in Imo State has spoken about the killings of people in his community by IPOB fighters…WATCH THE VIDEO HERE.
Speaking in an interview with News Central TV, Okoligwe said the IPOB fighters who killed many people in his community were not from his community. He said the people of his community value human life and do not take pride in killing anyone.
Okoligwe stated that the IPOB fighters, however, took pride in beheading their victims. He added that many of the people killed by IPOB fighters were buried without their heads
Okoligwe said what his community suffered at the hands of IPOB fighters was worse than what the community experienced during the Nigerian Civil War.
In Okoligwe’s words: “They took pride and delight in beheading people. The bodies they left at that initial period were buried without heads. Even in the civil war it was not as bad as what our people experienced”
