Two prominent Obidient movement members, Peter Akah also known as @Peter4Nigeria and Oruche Ogeamara Precious, popularly known as @MamaPee were invited by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, July 15, for questioning, according to one of their associates Mark Chidiebere Justice, also known as Justice Crack.
In a post on his X handle, Justice Crack said the duo reported at the EFCC office at about 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The engagement lasted several hours, with the individuals eventually released at around 12:00 a.m.
They were asked to return to the commission on Thursday, July 16, 2026, for further questioning, reveals Justice Crack.
“For now, everything is fine,” he stated, adding that “more updates will be shared as events unfold.”
The reason for the EFCC invitation has not been officially disclosed as of press time.
