Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, lifted Colombian music star, Shakira, in celebration of their collaboration.
In a viral video, the co-stars were seen embracing each other as they celebrated their collaboration for their upcoming performance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup closing ceremony.
NPO reported that Burna Boy shared the grand stage with Shakira at the FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, where they performed the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Dai Dai.
The performance saw him become only the second Nigerian artist to perform at a FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony, after Femi Kuti, son of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Kuti.
After the performance, Burna Boy was captured in an emotional moment with Shakira who embraced him backstage.
