It was that the portal through which members are voting online was hacked at some points after which an alternative portal was created.

Some members of the association who spoke to the NPO Reports on condition of anonymity said so many irregularities have dotted the exercise since its commencement today.

Meanwhile, some took to their social media handles to vent their frustration over the technical challenges experienced on the portal.

“NBA!!! This election has to be postponed. This is absolutely bonkers. Lots of people including myself are facing this issue. @RidwanuLlah come and see o We say no to Oluwole election o”@jurist_oriko wrote.

An attempt by the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice Lateef Fagbemi to intervene was rebuffed as he was accused of being used by the Federal government to meddle in the affairs of the NBA.

At at the time of filing this report, Mrs Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya was said to be leading other two contestants for the presidency of the association.
