Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the re-appointment of Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), in a move seen as reinforcing administrative continuity in the state.

The appointment, which takes immediate effect, was announced in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan. Fasoranti had previously served as SSG until March 30, 2026, when he stepped down to contest the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primaries for Ondo Central Senatorial District.

His return to the office underscores the governor’s confidence in his capacity to drive policy coordination and governance at the highest level of the state’s administration.

Aiyedatiwa, in the statement, congratulated Fasoranti on his re-appointment and charged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by redoubling efforts in the service of the state.

He urged the SSG to bring his wealth of experience in public administration, policy formulation and governance to bear in advancing the administration’s development blueprint.

The governor particularly emphasised the need for dedication, integrity and commitment to the “OUR EASE” agenda, which encapsulates his administration’s priorities in governance, infrastructure, economic growth and social welfare.
