A man drove the same car for 15 years trying to reach 1,000,000 kilometres.

One million.

He kept the car going year after year.

Through repairs.

Through breakdowns.

Through normal daily driving.

All for the moment the odometer would finally hit that magic number.

Then the day came.

The screen reached 999,999 km.

Everyone waited for it to roll over to 1,000,000.

But the car had other plans.

Instead of showing one million, the odometer reset back to:

000000

Fifteen years of driving.

One million kilometres.

And the car basically said:

“New game.”

The funniest part is that the car was never built to display seven digits.

It is weirdly poetic.
