A yet-to-be identified man caught on camera cutting electricity pole in Abuja has reigniting concerns over the vandalisation of public infrastructures in the country.

As captured in a video shared on Instagram on Wednesday, the man suspected to be a scavenger was seen cutting the remaining part of a vandalised streetlight with a seesaw.

He was however challenged by a resident of the undisclosed area of Abuja.

The vandal fled the scene during the challenge by the resident who filmed him.

Also captured in the clip was a suspected accomplice who watched as the scavenger vandalise the infrastructure.

He however claimed warning the scavenger against act after being also challenged by the resident.
