Governor Radda described the Emir as a trusted friend and a leader of exceptional character whose contributions to society have been immeasurable.
“Emir Bamalli stands as a bridge between two worlds. Deeply rooted in Islamic learning and tradition, he is equally at home in Western education and modern governance. This unique combination has made him a rare voice—one who can speak to both the sacred and the secular, to tradition and progress, without contradiction or apology,” the governor said.
Governor Radda also noted that the monarch’s tenure has been marked by an unwavering focus on the welfare of his subjects. He has championed causes that unite rather than divide. He has invested in initiatives that strengthen communities from within.
He described this quality as particularly vital in these times. When the world pulls people apart, when differences are weaponized, a leader who builds bridges becomes a treasure. Emir Bamalli is that treasure.
On behalf of the government and the good people of Katsina State, Governor Radda wished Emir Bamalli good health, continued wisdom, and many more years of service to Zazzau and Nigeria.
