Warns Colleagues against Opening Fire, Teargassing Protesters

A Nigerian soldier has alleged that some evil cabals are using insecurity as means of distraction to exploit solid minerals.
The soldier, in a video shared on X on Monday, claimed the insecurity is orchestrated by the cabals to disrupt and confuse Nigerians while warning his colleagues against opening fire and teargassing protesters.
He also claimed to know the cabals responsible for the insecurity.
“I know that the evil cabals are using insecurity as an element of distraction because they will be there harvesting our solid minerals and use it to enrich themselves and at long last, they will use insecurity to disrupt and confuse everybody.
“So, you that is going to open fire on peaceful protesters, you must be a failure to the oath of allegiance that you swore.
“Apply a bit of professionalism in this job, I know the bad cabals will not like my message, but it is my choice to be telling the truth and nothing but the truth.” He said.
The soldier who did not disclose his name reiterated his plea with his colleagues to allow protesters exercise their civil rights.
“I am using this medium to tell my people. Please if you are personnel, please don’t open fire or teargas on peaceful protesters.
“Don’t not open teargas on peaceful protesters. Let them exercise their civil rights. Even if an order is given, I understand but use your number six as a human being. Don’t open fire on peaceful protesters anyhow.
“Allow them to exercise their civil rights. Even if you are deployed, there are sequence of crowd dispersal and there is a drill on crowd dispersal.
“If you don’t understand the sequence and drill of crowd dispersal, there is an observation.
“Ask questions before your deployment because I don’t know how you will see sleep if one of your children is in the bush or if your wife or mother is one of those in the bush.” He said.
The soldier further warned against hijack of protest.
“Anyone attempting to hijack or disrupt a peaceful protest, shame on you.
“All the peaceful protesters must conduct themselves. Let it be a peaceful protest as planned.” He added.
