Nollywood actress Annie Macaulay Idibia has cried out to Nigerians to watch her movie.
On her Instagram page, she shared a video of herself with Veteran Nkem Owoh, in a sorrowful mood. When Nkem inquired what was wrong with her, she said she wasn’t happy, as Nigerians have yet to watch her movie.
“I am not happy because they don’t want to watch our film. Hey guys, please watch my movie. I am doing it with my boss”.
Kemi Filani reported days ago that 2baba’s ex-wife had returned to Nollywood. Sharing a video of herself on a movie set, she revealed that acting has always held a special place in her heart and that she was overjoyed to be back doing what she loves. She expressed gratitude for the growth, new beginnings and every opportunity to keep telling stories through film.
Recall that after her divorce from 2baba, Annie marked a new beginning, by deleting all her photos and posts from her Instagram page. She penned an appreciation post, thanking her support system for standing by her through her tough time.
Since her separation from her famous husband, the mother of two has been living her best life.
The mother of two made her first public appearance as she visited her junior colleague Regina Daniels and her husband Ned at their house in Abuja. In the clip, Annie is seen holding Regina’s hands and embracing a man.
She had also accompanied the couple on official duty in Abuja. The trio had visited the National Youth Service Corps headquarters in Abuja, where they met with the new Director General of NYSC.
Just a few months after the divorce announcement, she had bagged her first endorsement.
In a cryptic post, the popular actress had unburdened her heart, expressing hope that her daughter doesn’t accept things she accepted and that she knows her worth from the start and knows that no matter what, she always has her in her corner.
She had shared a post about moving on, stating that she just archives and moves on.
While celebrating the New Year, Annie reflected on her painful blessings in 2025, noting how 2025 had thrown her a lot, yet she remained standing.
In another post, the former Mrs Idibia, who shared photos of her outfit to AFRIMA, stated that she realised she has a beautiful life, a few hiccups here and there, but overall, she is blessed.
