Actress Simi Drey sends shout-out to mothers as she shares cute video of her and Toke Makinwa’s daughter bonding

Actress and TV host Simi Drey has given a shout-out to mothers.

While sharing a video of herself and her daughter bonding with Toke Makinwa and her daughter, she praised them for holding it down at work and at home.

Simi noted that motherhood isn’t easy and prayed that their children would always be greater than they are.

“Shout-out to every mother holding it down at work and those holding it down at home. Motherhood is a lot of things, but easy is not one of them. Regardless, the prayer is that our children will always be greater than us”.

A few weeks ago, Toke shared a sweet video of the moment she reunited with her daughter, after weeks of filming a movie in South Africa. She said being away was hard, and she would come home crying and then pull herself together to be present at work.

Refreshing your memory, last year, was undoubtedly the best year for the former OAP as she welcomed her first child, a baby girl, named Yakira Eliana at 40.

Speaking on motherhood, she had revealed how it transformed her personality. She noted that, throughout this year, she had been indoors due to her pregnancy, which was unlike her, as she is usually an outdoor person.

Makinwa shared a photo of her mini-me carrying her teddy bear as she lamented that she had just become a mom, yet her daughter was trying to make her a grandma.

On Mother’s Day, Toke shared photos of herself and her daughter, noting that, because of her, she was receiving personalised Mother’s Day messages. Calling her daughter sweet names, Toke said her daughter brought her ease as she makes motherhood easy.

Also, on International Women’s Day, which coincided with her daughter’s 7-month birthday, Toke said she is raising a queen, and it’s her duty to hand her a crown.
