The Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has swept the poll at the polling unit of his predecessor, Kayode Fayemi, in the ongoing governorship election in the state.
Oyebanji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, recorded a landslide victory at the PU009, Ogilogo Ward 11, at Isan-Ekiti, Oye Local Government Area.
As captured in the result sheet uploaded on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Result Viewing Portal (IREV), the APC recorded 158 votes out of the 161 total valid votes.
On the other hand, the Dapo Bejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) recorded two votes while the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) candidate, Oluwole Oluyede, recorded zero vote.
