A Twitter user identified as Mr Mekzy has questioned why popular clergyman, Pastor Jerry, didn’t heal Alex Ekubo.
Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that the light-skinned actor had passed away on Monday, May 11th, after a battle with Cancer and was 40 years old.
In a heartbreaking statement, his family announced that the actor had passed away after a brief but courageous battle. According to the statement, he passed away at Evercare Hospital due to complications arising from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.
Following the sad news, a video of the clergyman praying for Alex is circulating on Twitter.
Reacting to the clip, the Twitter user expressed confusion about how Pastor Jerry heals people at NSPPD yet couldn’t heal Alex, even after laying his hands on him.
He said he thinks about it, and it shakes his faith. Mr Mekzy added that he has so many questions because it’s genuinely confusing.
“Things like this really confuse me tbh, makes me honestly scared, and I’m not even trying to be mischievous. This pastor heads NSPPD, and a whole lot of people have gotten healed (I believe that the healings are real, btw) just by being a part of it, but this is the same man laying his hands directly on Alex, and he still passed on. I think about this thing, and it shakes my faith a lot tbh. I have so many questions because it’s genuinely confusing”.
Media personality Daddy Freeze had expressed disbelief at popular clergyman Pastor Jerry Eze’s miraculous healing at an event in the UK. Freeze, noted how gospel singer Yinka Ayefele has been in a wheelchair for years, yet the clergyman hasn’t healed him, but is going abroad to heal people
That wasn’t the first time the media personality has expressed disbelief at a clergyman’s miraculous healing.
The former OAP reacted to the founder of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome’s revelation that he had raised 50 people from the dead in the last year. Freeze publicly appealed to the clergyman, urging him to add Mohbad and Mr Ibu.
To add to the list, Freeze had slammed Apostle Joshua Selman, over his inability to raise the dead after he narrated how he was locked up in a mortuary but was unable to raise the dead despite quoting several scriptures. Freeze questioned if he would accept such an excuse from doctors or pilots.
