Yul Edochie reacts to Alex Ekubo painful death

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has spoken out on the death of his colleague, Alex Ekubo.

On his Facebook page, he described the deceased as his good friend and brother, noting how his death is a painful exit.

Edochie said they can do nothing but submit to the will of God, the author and finisher. He noted how the actor made the world a better place by simply being himself and lit up every room with his positive charm.

The light-skinned actor said that though they mourn, they celebrate the great soul he is and bade him farewell.

“To my good friend and brother, Chief Ikuku Alex Ekubo, go well.
A very painful exit.
But what can we do other than submit to the will of God, the author and finisher?
You made the world a better place by simply being you.
You lit up every room with your positive charm.
We mourn, yes, but we also celebrate the great soul you were.
Till we meet again, rest well, brother.
God knows best”.

A few days ago, Edochie had sent a message to his gender as he decried the alarming rate of the death of men. He noted that men are dying untimely these days and admonished them to take care of their well-being, cut off anything that gives them stress, and do the things they can and leave the ones they can’t.

While reacting to the deaths of two Nollywood cinematographers, Yul lamented over the many untimely deaths in Nollywood. The actor prayed for God to strengthen the deceased’s families.

While reacting to the series of untimely deaths in Nollywood, he attributed the deaths to the relegation of traditions for foreign worship. He stated that the spirits being worshipped are powerful and have departed in anger because they were abandoned. Edochie urged everyone to return to their pure and powerful traditions.

Giving a possible solution, he admonished Nigerians to return home and embrace their traditional ways. According to him, if one keeps it judiciously, untimely death will never be their portion.

Earlier this year, Yul had reacted to the death rumours about his father, Pete Edochie. He hailed him as his man for life and the Lion of Africa, declaring that his father would live beyond 100 years. Shutting down the death rumours, Yul said his father is alive, hale, and hearty.
