Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has assured the wife of late actor Alexx Ekubo that she will not be left alone following the actor’s death.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that the actress shared on Instagram that she joined close friends and colleagues to visit Alexx’s home, where they spent time with his wife and remembered moments they shared with him during his lifetime.
According to her, the atmosphere during the visit was emotional as people moved from tears to laughter while talking about the late actor’s personality, memories and the impact he had on those around him.
Uche described Alexx as someone who lived intentionally and always planned his life carefully. She said those who gathered at the house spoke about the lessons, conversations and love they received from him over the years.
She also said she believes the late actor is now free from pain and resting peacefully, while assuring his wife that she would continue to receive support from those close to him.
She wrote: “As we sat around your wife today talking about you, through the tears came heavy laughter, and I looked around and said … this is so Alex! Thank you, brother, for the memories, lessons, conversations and love! Because I know how much of a planner you are and how intentional you are, I can say you did it YOUR WAY!
“Everything else is noise. Our hearts are breaking, but I know you are free from pain and left with a smile. I thank God for your life, for your peace with him in the end. I’m sure you already know we got her! Love you and miss you, Ikuku.”
