Begs Makinde for Release of Wife, Kidnapped Students and Teachers

A man who identified himself as husband of Mrs. F.O Alamu, the abducted principal of Ahoro-Esinele Community High School, has expressed disraught over the continued stay of his wife and other teachers and students of the school in kidnappers den.
Mr Alamu, who commended the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, over his efforts since the mass abduction of the teachers and students by suspected terrorists, pleaded with the governor for swift rescue of the victims.
He made the plea while speaking during a condolence visit to families affected by the May 15 attack by the insurgents in Ahoro-Esinele.
The visibly aggrieved man disclosed undergoing emotional and pyschological trauma over videos of his wife begging to be rescued.
“We appreciate the efforts since the occurrence of this incident. You are not a stranger to us. You won’t fail over this case.
“Please don’t relent over this matter. It’s my wife they are using to make the videos they criculate. It is very disheartening and depressing. I know you can do it.” Mr. Alamu said before busting into tears as he knelt before Makinde.
The governor walked up to the man to console him.
Also speaking was the mother-in-law of the Yaota Baptist Nursery and Primary School teacher abducted alongside her pupils.
The elderly woman also pleaded for swift release of the vicitms as she identifed the Nursery school teacher as her daughter-in-law, adding that she was kidnapped alongside four of her grandchildren.
“Please help us all. I have four grandchildren and my daughter-in-law, who is the nursery school teacher, held in captivity. Please help me. It’s my son’s wife you see in the video with a baby.” She said.
Makinde had in reaction condoled the families whilr assuring them of ongoing effort to rescue the victims.
