Presidential primary: Badagry LG boss hails  peaceful conduct of APC members

The Chairman, Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos, Mr Babatunde Hunpe,on Saturday commended APC members in Badagry for peace conduct during the presidential primary election in the council.

Hunpe gave the commendation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) shortly after the conclusion of exercise in Badagry.

NAN reports that  APC members trooped out at the designated voting centres across 11 wards  in the area to cast their votes.

NAN also reports that electoral  officials arrived early to conduct the election in all the wards.

NAN also reports that all APC members voted for President Bola Tinubu’s as the party’s candidate in all the wards.

Hunpe said he was so excited to see APC members in Badagry coming out e-masse to support President Tinubu in the primary.

“Today, my people have come out, old, young, men and women to show their love for our father, our leader, President Tinubu re-election bid.

“Going round the 11 wards in Badagry, everyone, both young and old , who are of voting age have all affirmed President Tinubu.

“I am so delighted at this demonstration of love for our president by my people and our APC members,” he said.

The chairman thanked the people of Badagry for their support in all the primary elections.

Hunpe urged the residents of the area to shun violence ahead of 2027,calling on them to get their Permanent Voter Cards to enable them vote in 2027 (NAN)
