A two-year-old pupil, Christianah Akanbi of Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School, is among the victims abducted during last Friday’s terrorist attack on communities in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
According to Vanguard, community leaders disclosed that a total of 46 persons were abducted during the attack.
The community leaders revealed that the kidnapped victims comprise seven teachers and 39 pupils from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele, and Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School.
The attackers also reportedly carted away four motorcycles belonging to residents. Three of the motorcycles were said to have been stolen from the Yawota community, while one belonged to a resident of the high school community.
