Reality TV star and actor Teddy A has shared his views on marriage, saying he wants a wife who is submissive even though he fully supports women who are financially independent and successful.
PrimeTimes Nigeria reports that he made this known during a round table discussion on Echo Room, where he spoke about relationships and the kind of partner he prefers.
Teddy A explained that he has no issue being with a woman who is “high-value” or doing well in her career. He also said he enjoys supporting women and respects their drive to succeed.
At the same time, he made it clear that he does not support the idea of a stay-at-home wife. According to him, marriage should involve both partners working and building their lives together so they can enjoy the results later in life.
He said: “The way I see a woman, I love to support a woman. I have no problem having a high-value woman; I do not want a stay-at-home wife. I hate that s**t, we both have got to get it so when we get older, we can enjoy what we have worked on together. But the point where you miss it is when you are not submissive.”
