Heirs Insurance Group has launched a multi-language generative AI assistant, Prince AI, in a move aimed at transforming customer engagement and expanding access to insurance services across Nigeria and beyond.
The unveiling of Prince AI marks a significant step in the company’s digital transformation drive as the insurance group prepares to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The firm said the innovation reflects its continued focus on technology, accessibility, and customer-focused insurance solutions.
With the introduction of Prince AI, Heirs Insurance becomes the first insurance company in Nigeria to deploy a multi-language generative AI assistant. The platform is designed to provide instant and intelligent responses to customer enquiries relating to the company’s insurance products, while also educating users on broader insurance-related issues.
The AI-powered assistant helps users understand different insurance plans, evaluate coverage options, and choose policies that suit their personal or business needs.
Built to improve accessibility, Prince AI supports several local and international languages, including English, Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese, among others. The company noted that the feature is intended to eliminate language barriers and make insurance services more inclusive for a wider audience.
In addition to responding to enquiries, the chatbot allows users to buy and renew policies, as well as initiate and monitor claims processes. Customers can access the service through WhatsApp, the SimpleLife Mobile App, and the company’s official website.
Speaking on the development, Chief Digital Officer of Heirs Insurance Group, Peace Okhianmhense-Philips, described the launch as a major milestone in the organisation’s digital journey.
According to her, the integration of generative AI into customer service operations is aimed at improving efficiency while making insurance interactions more personalised and accessible.
She added that the technology would enable the company to better understand customer needs and deliver faster, smarter, and more responsive support services.
The company further explained that Prince AI operates on adaptive intelligence, allowing it to continuously improve through user interactions and provide more accurate responses over time. It also stated that human representatives would remain available to provide personalised support and professional guidance whenever necessary.
