Sen. Sani Musa (APC-Niger) and Chairman, Senate Committee on Finance, has urged Muslims to embrace the virtues of obedience, sacrifice, love, and total submission to the will of Allah as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Sen. Musa stated this in a message issued to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday.
He said Eid-el-Kabir symbolises faith, devotion and selflessness, as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice in obedience to Allah’s command.
He called on Muslims to reflect on these values and apply them in their daily lives for the peace, unity and progress of Niger East, Niger and the nation at large.
Musa also encouraged Nigerians to continue praying for the country, support one another, and extend kindness to the less privileged during the festive period.
He called on Muslim faithful to pray for President Bola Tinubu and other leaders to ensure good democratic governance and smooth, peaceful campaigns.
He said seeking divine intervention would pave the way for orderly electoral processes in the country.
Musa wished Muslims across Nigeria and beyond a peaceful, joyful and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir celebration.( NAN) ( www.nannews.ng)
