Human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has alongside one of his lawyers, clashed with security operatives at the Federal High Court in Abuja over the bail hearing of social media influencer, Justice Chidiebere, popularly known as Justice Crack.
NPO Reported that Justice Crack, who was arraigned over alleged cybercrime, had on Monday appeared before the court for the hearing of the fresh bail application filed by his new counsel days after the withdrawal of the initial application by his former lawyer, Marshall Abubakar.
Justice Crack was granted a N5 million by the court with one surety in like sum.
Meanwhile, prior to the arrival of Justice Crack, drama had ensued outside the court’s premises as Sowore, his lawyers, journalists, and other activists were denied entry into the court room.
Challenging the police in a video shared on X, Sowore held that the security operatives have no right deny the media entry into the court.
‘Let the media enter. You have no right to prevent the media from entering. You have to let them enter.” He said.
Another video showed moment one of the activist’s lawyers was shoved in the face by a security operative during a scuffle.
